Dump Bins

Dump Bins are a very versatile and cost effective promotional tool which, quite simply, are display bins which hold product of any nature.

The promotional bin is a proven method of advertising a product within retail space, having a long floor life due to the strong nature of the dump bin. Soft toys, magazines, sports equipment, confectionary and much more can all be ‘dumped’ within to be easily viewed and accessed by the public.

All Clearpoints bins are bespoke and therefore tailored to the specific needs of the product you wish to promote. Taking into account the size and weight of the product we can make the bin out of stronger or lighter weight materials, making the capacity suit the quantity of product to be displayed.

The dump bin comes in many forms - hexagonal, cylindrical and square are the most common but we can design pretty much any shape you can think of. Most bins Clearpoint design are made to fold flat ‘flat-pack’, which means storage or distribution costs can be kept to a minimum.

Clearpoint also make bins from harder wearing materials such as plastics and correx etc. This means the display unit can be used as a ‘semi-permanent’ display tool, getting more value by selling more product from the retail floor.

Leaflet Dispensers

Leaflet Dispensers

Clearpoint
design and produce many styles of leaflet dispenser. Some are large runs for big brand names and some might just be for a small quantity to trial run the unit or for a small chain.

Leaflet dispensers can be designed to house any size leaflet, including A5, DL, A4 and more. The most common style of dispenser is the card ‘twist and lock’ style unit. This means that a standard style unit can be sent out flat in a simple hard backed envelope and once delivered the store worker simply twists and locks the unit together ready to load the leaflets.

All design, print and manufacturing is completed in-house, ensuring your leaflet dispenser project is completed to the highest of standards. Our specialised storage and distribution warehouse can even take care of individual store deliveries, holding back-up stock and order fulfillment.

What are Leaflet dispensers?

Leaflet dispensers are a very effective retail display solution which can help drive sales even in the harshest of economic times, calling products to the attention of the public very effectively. Leaflet dispensers are generally made from PVS and can hold a wide range of promotional materials but mainly card and paper.

Leaflet dispensers are varied and are designed for effective short or long term Point Of Purchase display, with easy assembly and, therefore, can also save distribution costs too.

Techniques are constantly evolving to change with the styles and design trends of the moment, showcasing big name brands to give maximum and instant brand impact, and more importantly, to add value.

When deciding on a leaflet dispenser the customer is without doubt very important in the success for the business and furthermore the style and, therefore, needs some thought about before running a promotion using display units. Stores which cater for the high end customer should opt for higher quality display unites for their leaflets as opposed to stores which are driven by sales through offers, in which case the more cost effective materials such as card should be considered.

It is very important to ensure your display unit or leaflet dispenser stands out against competitors, and therefore it is imperative to choose the design company who will create and manufacture the display for your product with care. However, most creative companies creating leaflet dispensers will design, print and manufacture the most trendiest advertising units for you to display your product to its full potential, to new and current customers of a particular product.

Make sure your design is eye catching – you want prospective customers to see you and be enticed to purchase. There is a very small window frame of time when a consumer decides whether to approach your promotion for your product. Therefore, the importance to getting your message about your product through to consumers in bold and simple terms is essential. A good leaflet dispenser creative will create this for you.

A POS campaign is feasible and cost effective but good planning and creative design are crucial.

FSDU and FSDUs

Free standing display units, or FSDUs, are typically used in retail as display points for information. Unlike the shelves of a shop they are free standing, so the content of the FSDU display is separate from the other products. They can hold leaflets and newspapers, or act as a promotional stand for products within the shop, thus making them really quite essential in retail. FDSUs have become increasingly popular and do effectively make the layout of a shop more interesting. In addition, marketing campaigns regularly capitalise on using a variety of means to promote brands, and installing a freestanding display unit is one of the most direct ways to make specific products stand out in a shop.
Companies that manufacture and sell FDSUs in the UK also pride themselves on their design teams. It is essential for the designs to be creative and fresh, thereby meeting the demands of potential clients from big brand names. They use a wide range of materials which effectively help the free standing display unit make a great visual impression, but also to determine whether the unit will be permanent or just semi-permanent in the store. They can use anything from cardboard, plastic or wood, depending on how long the client want the free standing display unit to last.  In order to keep costs down in transit and installation, the manufacturing company can design flat-pack versions of the FSDU, or part assembly units in order to control the cost of shipping.
The clients of companies that design and manufacture free standing display units usually get in contact with the manufacturer with a design brief via telephone or email. These are typically available from the manufacturer’s website alongside examples of prototype display units they have previously made.
